Dr. Manal Yazbak Abu Ahmad is a senior lecturer, pedagogical supervisor, former Dean of Student Affairs, and former Head of the English Department at Sakhnin College for Teacher Education. She is also a board member of the International Association for Intercultural Education (IAIE) and the TEC Center at the Mofet Institute. For the past eight years, she has coordinated the International Online TEC Day.

In addition, she is an expert in the use of innovative digital tools in teaching and has been implementing collaborative learning strategies in online multicultural environments, including MOOC courses, for more than 16 years. Her main research interests include (virtual) intercultural exchange, multicultural education, attitude change, intergroup dialogue, online collaborative learning, and experiential learning.
